On a subject of driving...

These last few months have been a varied venture to put it lighlty, and part of me has been wondering if I'll ever get to finishing off some art projects or any of the sort. Part of me wants to elaborate more on what's been going on RL but part of me wants to shut up about it.

So I'll instead just cover something a bit RL related but more game related. At the moment (which could change without warning) I've got a bit more access to a PS3, and subsequently been either playing some games I've been denied from playing in spite of purchasing them, or trying out some new things.

I'm still on the fence in regards to GT6, some like it, some hate it, some have inbetween feelings, and it seems to be a lot of variations. I'll be honest, at this stage I'd only really bother with GT6 apart from the challenges, is the fact GT among other games have been good points of referneces for my art projects. Although part of me has been deabting the legitmatematicy of such actions. Even though I also take what photos I can on my own of the real life examples (of cars or backgrounds, etc) when avaiable.

That and GRiD 2, I was initally unimrpessed with the demo but gave it more time, at least they do a bit more compared to other demos and also had an online section even if most online racers are a bunch of fu---... very agressive demoiltion drivers. But I like that there is a bit more nuance even if a fine line between having major grip and simpling sliding is a paper thin nuance.

But I'll think about them both. I was going to buy DLC for GT5, specifically VW cars but was put off when I saw that the Golf R was Right hand drive only...for some it matters not, but this isn't just an issue with GT but Forza, NFS, Project cars or a number of games...I'd like to have a game where it's an option far as the cockpit goes for cars to be either left hand or right hand drive if such cases actually exist in real life (exceptions of course including obvioulsy prototypes where they may only be LHD or RHD), but that's just me.

Only problem at this stage is that I'm slowly getting a 'racing bug' back...and while I've been craving to play racing games, I also need to again keep in mind other things that need be done...but we'll see.

But anyway, wanted to talk about something else for a change, so till when I bother to post a journal again.
